The most beautiful Germanic language?
Here's one that might cause some debate: What, to you, is the most beautiful Germanic language? Just in terms of your personal ęsthetic.

Icelandic is the most beautiful language in the entire world IMO. Swedish is pretty aestethic as well.
Danish isn't beautiful but it's still pretty charming.

In my opinion, the most beautiful Germanic languages are Danish,Swedish,German and English and its variants, such as American, British,Australian and New Zealander English.

Dutch and Afrikaans, I can't believe I am the only one who sees beauty in those languages.

I'm biased towards English as I find it to be the best for writing, song, and also comedy. I can't imagine any of the classics being rewritten in a foreign language. English imo is just far better at portraying emotion across a wider variety of genres where as a language like German works best solely in metal. I've listened to a lot of foreign language hard rock artist, they just can't beat the English speaking ones. More spirit in their music.

German is the most beautiful Germanic language. Scandinavian languages sound too gay, and English is not a Germanic language with its 50+% frog vocabulary.
