Google Translator English-Spanish is actually quite good, at least if you compare it to other language combos. But 90% of the sentences will still have mistakes.

And don't forget that, as with Wikipedia, people can edit the translations. A couple of weeks ago, if you typed 'Sóc català' in Catalan, you got 'Soy español' in Spanish. (Yeah, Spanish children are like that )
