Who are the most tanning obsessed Europeans?

Italians. Just look at the clubbing photos from Sicily. I don't believe that is their real color

Yeah, it usually does not look too good, although I think natural tans can sometimes look good on Northern Europeans if they can pull it off without getting sunburnt, and some do. Fake tans almost always look bad.

True that in Italy there are too many tanning obessesed, but Sicilians spend 5/6 months every year on a beach. Their summer season started at May, sometimes even in April, and ends in October. I guess even a Northern European, if he doesn't burns completely, he becomes very tan in Sicily.

That's why so many people look dark that I post.. they're young and probably on the beach all day.

Yes, that is probably true. At least the native Sicilians probably get real tans instead of the fake ones like they do in New Jersey!

Tanning makes people look much more exotic, also. When I arrived at school this year I did have a tan and people asked me if I was Armenian, whereas I haven't heard that so much recently since I am now pale as a ghost!
