Only a fool (or a propagandist) would seriously believe that Russia would invade Bulgaria, or any other neighbouring country. Russia didn't invade Crimea. Crimea was an autonomous area in Ukraine who asked Putin to become part of Russia again (historically it mostly was, and has a majority ethnic Russians). Crimea invited Russia to come in after the referendum. Stop parroting the nonsense you read in the biased American media.

No they don't hide 10.000 gypises, Turks and Syrians. However America promotes multiculturalism in the "free" world because divided countries in ethnic and religious minorities are much easier to be controlled than the homogenous ones. Divide and rule. If we try to oppose them and start ethnic cleansing the Roma and the Muslims we will be condemned as evil nazis, commies, monsters etc and we will be carpet bombed eventually.

Where am I saying Russia is planning to invade Bulgaria? I'm saying it's to show solidarity against Russian neo-imperialism and irredentist claims. Which, by the way, was driven by Eastern Europeans requests for a larger American presence there. However, the force as small it may be it certainly can prevent another Crimea from happening again.

The idea that the referendum in Crimea was free and fair is comical. It was carried out only after the Russian soldiers had already secured the peninsula. I also certainly don't see Putin granting other republics in Russia like Chechnya the opportunity to organize a referendum for independence.

Crimea, also, was not an independent country. It was just a province of Ukraine. It had no authority to "invite" (nor did they) foreign forces of sorts. That's just a fabrication to justify Putin's unilateral invasion of the peninsula.

The U.S. was already focused in Asia, pivoting against China and all. But then out of the blue the Russians started a shitstorm in Ukraine all because the Ukrainians wanted the Putin puppet who robbed the country out! The Russian annexation is in fact the first irredentist claim enforced since the end of WW2 and you are surprised that the U.S. has a newfound interest in Eastern Europe?

By the way I do not believe Putin was behind the Donbass conflict (unlike Crimea). Igor Strelkov (Strelkov is a nickname and it means shooter in Russian) fired the first shot ... but the Russians have intervened to save the rebels from being crushed by the Ukrainian military.

This pro-Us nonsense . WE should remain neutral to all this madness. Last thing we need now is to be involved into this conflict with Russia. We have more important issues inside our country to solve seriously...

Of course we have more important problems to solve. Our demographics and economy especially but the shit Russia pulled is simply not something we can ignore, unfortunately. We should be knowledgeable of the issue and understand how it affects us since we are part of the EU and NATO. The two institutions Putin deeply despises.

Where in the world am I saying that even approaches to what you said? The U.S. is just a military partner and ally. They're not our master. We can go ahead and elect a pro-Russian government in Sofia and get out of the EU and NATO. The U.S. will not invade us.

Do you seriously believe that ? They just want our geographical area to put their bases. If war happens we will be in the middle of it, many Bulgarians will die for no reason.

Can we elect a pro-Bulgarian for once? No we can't. I don't want to be part of the Eu and Nato or the Eurasian Union.
