most jews identify as white, as they tick white on okcupid, i wrote several jewish girls and they all ticked white even if they looked very semitic/jewish they still ticked white and they could have passed as sicilian or greek islander. the jews as a group identify as white even the mizrahis, middle easterners also identify as white, and i was told that the US Census reflects group self-identification and mainstream social definitions, it doesnt try to define race biological (which wouldnt rule out per se jews or mideasterners even but it would be more complicated to do). jews are proud to be white, in usa so are iranians are lebanese. so these groups are white it reflects their self-identification.

Almost everyone considers ashkenazis to be white apart from a small group of white nationalists and jews with issues. Anyway, all these 'white' threads are useless.
