This is a sequel to my older thread comparing NW Europeans to NE Asians. This time, let's compare NW Europeans to Northern Middle Easterners. When focusing on Brits, French and Germans, please only focus on the native White populations and not on the substantial number of people of immigrant descent. When focusing on Lebanese, Syrians and Iraqis, please only focus on the Arab majorities as opposed to the minorities of Kurds, Assyrians, Armenians etc.

And besides, I am British myself, and it is indeed interesting and legitimate (a) to discuss which other groups we resemble and to what scale and (b) to discuss whether there is more internal diversity within a particular region of Europe or a particular region of the Middle East.

I mean to see whether there is more internal diversity within NW Europe or within the Northern Middle East. I see it as a perfectly legitimate and intelligent anthropological exercise. And sorry if I came across as abrupt.
