Latin alphabet is only a tool (as Cyrllic script is) to express Slavic/Polish sounds. Polish language in Cyrillic transcript sounds the same as in Latin. I can give you an example, if you wish. My Russian is better than my English, so I can express myself (in Polish) in Cyrillic script anytime, when it is needed

Serbs and Montenegros lost their old national anthem at their own request.

For now Poles are the only one single Slavic nation, who keeps the tradition of our ancestors - they are still singing 'Hej, Slavianie' in the form of Polish national anthem. Shame on you, rest of Slavs :/

No it isn't. 'Mazurek Dąbrowskiego' is Polish anthem with significant lyrics.

The same melody we shared with ex-Jugos, but they failed to keep it due to some misunderstandings with the neighbours. No 'Hej, Slavianie' for Serbs and Montenegros. They said 'no' for this song. So, we Poles, respect their poit of view.

Slavs and Scandos are branches of Indo-European tree both originated in Eurasian steppe. At some point it were the same people. After ice age ended and Scandinavia became habitable some migrated over there and ended up with their own cultural development. Still it seems there was no major cultural differences all the way until Christianity arrived.
