I am creating this thread to discuss and talk about the different peoples of the Caucasus. I find the Caucasus to be a very interesting area of the globe when it comes to anthropology and history. There are massive levels of diversity in culture, language and origins of the different peoples of the Caucasus. This mix of peoples, cultures and languages is really what makes the Caucasus such a fascinating area of the globe to study. To start I am going to post some links with background information on some of the main ethnic groups/cultures of the Caucasus. I know that I am missing some smaller sub-groups (Dagestan and Georgia mainly) but please feel free to join in and add to the list if you want.
