I believe that school uniforms are a private school thing. I never studied in a private school without uniform rules.

I went to catholic school and we had to wear uniforms. I really couldn't care less tbh. Makes life easier

Students are safer on field trips (easy identification) and also on school grounds (freaks can make their way into school and blend in)

Support. It encourages fraternity regardless of social class, it closes the income-fashion gap which otherwise may cause bullying, it looks tidy and it gets young people used to wearing a uniform and dressing up.

School uniforms here are usually just a T-shirt that identifies you as a student of that school. It is better that everyone dress the same, to avoid people going to school dressed like goths, crackheads or prostitutes.

We didn't had in my school, but i think it's a good idea. It limit the bullshit about who wear which brands. And when you saw how some yong people are dress it can't be bad.
