It's the perennial, metaphysical question that's been asked for ages. Are Filipinos more "Asian" or "Pacific ISLANDER"?

Filipinos can either be "Asian" because they are substantiated as part of the continent of Asia, Or they could be "Pacific Islander" because they are on an island such as the likes of Samoa, Tonga, Melanesian Isles and such. They can, in phenotype, appear as either Southern Chinese or Polynesian look-a-likes in affinity, but can have cultural aspects more akin to Oceania rather than mainland Asia on an important note.

Asians, definitely. I mean, they're closer to mainland China than Indonesia, and I identify most of the Indonesian territory as purely asian.
