Pontefract Cakes original black licorice:

I take this back. Absolutely disgusting to me and tastes like molasses with a weak licorice flavor. I intend to resell it for half price. I will eventually try salmiak liquorice which I hope will be more palatable.

I was about to ask if Jellybabies were your favourite confectionary, but I guess they don't have them in America (I'm always reminded on this forum of how many cultural references we don't have in common, like this thread - chocolate would not be considered 'candy', and we don't say candy anyway).

I am fond of American black licorice like from Twizzlers so I wanted to try types from Europe where it is more popular:


Any product baby-themed is attractive to me so I will definitely check out both Bassett's Jellybabies and Heide Chocolate Babies.
