    Default Ask Desaix on tips on how to lose weight

    So I've fluctuated in weight a significant amount of times, during my life : I've been overweight, more than overweight (obese), and thin but for most of life I've been thin. In the past 4 months I have lost over 40 pounds of fat. I'm about 5'11 or maybe a little bit more. I was 216 pounds and now I'm 174.8 pounds. If anyone doubts that I'll have the body of an under model, soon, just keep in mind I lost over 40 pounds of fat in just 4 months. I need to establish some credibility here so I'll post some pictures to prove that I have lost weight (you can see it just in my face alone) :

    No, this is not a vain narcissistic thread I only post my pictures to establish credibility on being an expert on losing weight. I'm really starting this thread to help people lose weight.

    Anyway, if anyone has any questions on how to lose weight or the best ways to lose weight or what is hype and bullshit in the billion dollar weight loss industry and what is not etc.. just ask me ( Also, I could also answer questions on not just how to lose weight but how to get lean and toned etc..) That is what this thread is for : to help people who want to lose weight lose weight. I'm going to be busy tonight but I will get around to answering any questions eventually.

    You might think that this is a silly thread because most people know how to lose weight but they just don't have the will power but apparently not :

    Yeah, one big mistake people try to make is to try to lose weight in one area by doing a specific exercise. Like some retards who want 6 pack abs will just do situps to try to lose stomach fat but this is stupid. You can't really get 6 pack abs by doing situps the best thing one could do to get a 6 pack is to do cardio, modify ones diet and do compound exercises. I know your question isn't about 6 pack but it is the same kind of thing. I recommend jogging, modifying ones diet and doing compound exercises but maybe do more lower body exercises than other kinds like squats, lunges etc.. but you can't really just lose weight in one area so much it is better to focus on overall bodyfat percentage loss that is more effective. Jogging is good for you because people who jog at least 4 hours a week have higher metabolism than other people not to mention all the calories you burn. It also tones up your thighs and butt etc.. compound exercises are good because at rest pound for pound muscle burns more calories than fat etc.. squats and lunges etc.. are self-explantory why they are good for you to do.
