I just made a thread about how modern "feminists" don't focus on actual issues, and instead focus on inconsequential stupid shit like this so that they find an excuse to be offended. The day they focus on something relevant, I will applaud them.

The meaning of a message is more important than any minor language mistakes that may be in it. Snobbery is bad when it ignores the meaning to focus on something less important. It's annoying that the author is trying to make it into an issue of racism. Also, I hate texting myself and I often abbreviate things when I have to text.

I think the message matters more but when people use improper grammar because they just cannot be bothered to do differently, that is when I take an issue.
