Multiculturalism is usually related with immigration. Migrants have to be assimilated my local culture, actually migrants come in for this. If no, society will be artificially divided with serious consequences. Here, in Australia, ordinary people do not understand what is multiculturalism, they think that is national restaurants and colourful exotic dances. Funny things starts when "Australian" Indians support Indian team in the final game of cricket world cup, Australia-India. And here polit-correctness starts...
P.S. If you start to assimilate local small nations it is genocide.

Just in moderation it's fine, but not too much of it, especially if it involves radical Islam.

I mean it's great in terms of functionality. It's not a hopeless and desolate place for the majority of the population. Most people can find their ways to change their lives for the better (sometimes through a lot of hard work). Now, of course Brazil has deep problems when it comes to racism. Anyone with eyes and a brain knows this, but honestly, I see things getting better in terms of race relations in Brazil in the long-term future. Afro-Brazilians will have to become more racially conscious and White Brazilians must be more critical of their past and present-day actions for sure... But on a serious note, I don't think Brazil has to become some sort of Black nationalist state in order to work better for all of its citizens.
