All cars owned by my family (since 1998) have been auto transmission.

I don't have one but when i get it's going to be manual,automatic was invented for disabled people and Americans.

Manual.I would not feel comfortable with an auto gearbox.Not that I am that much of old and experienced driver but I still don't think that an auto gear box can make a better decision than I can,especially in my area's roads,where there are a lot of climbs/declines and sharp turns,and selecting gears to move accordingly with weather and road conditions is not something an auto gear box can do.

I drive a manual. I drove an auto in New Zealand though as they were more common there (imported second-hand cars from Japan).

Manual. Like almost all cars in my country. People with physical handicaps tend to drive automatics though, and it seems like automatic is becoming a little more popular here these days over all.
