Being in the situation to eat other human being means the one is in one desperate situation, which maybe, but not always include dehydration too next the the hunger. The thing is that if a person die of hunger his blood is going to jellied, so the only way to be able to use blood is to kill the human while his hearth is still "working".

The question is hypothetical, but there are numerous cases of cannibalism, especially among the sailors and during the wars ( the famous case was during WWII when Japanese soldiers were eating Australian POW's).

Is that the film about Argentinian (?) football team whose plane crashes in the Andes? They would all have died otherwise, but eating the dead some of them survived. The same with the Donner party.

Although I'm not sure how happy they were/are about it afterwards.
