Spam is an industry. Mail lists from website databases are bought and traded, not to mention bots crawling the web to look for email addresses publicly accessible.

Many websites sell your personal info to whoever wishes to buy it because it's worth money. You don't actually need to visit a porn website to receive spam about porn websites. On my old e-mail, I used to get spams about Rolex every now and then as well as requests from rich African businessmen/heiresses/daughters of African diplomats who needed my bank account number in order to send me money. And I swear I had never visited a website connected to any of those subjects.

Malware.Its usually not harmful,only annoying.The point of it is advertising.

As long as you don't create a profile on a porn site like xhamster and enter your email, there's no way that they can get it. Are you sure that you ain't infected with malware? Check your PC with an antivirus like kaspersky.
