Can a porn website somehow get your email address?

I clicked on some links in the chatbox two or three weeks ago posted by Alchemysta which turned out to be links to porn sites. (It's my own fault I guess because if it's a link from him it can't be much else.)

Since then I have been receiving spam from NewB00tyCall who asks if I want to fuck Rozina, NewF#ckFriend who says "Hello pecker" and then Rosanne Eberling who wants to "hook up right now".

How am I suddenly getting these emails???

I always visit such websites but I don't pay attention to which type of spam I receive, I never check spam and from time to time I empty it (select all, remove all )

I wonder how many spam mails Alchemysta must be getting if he is the one referring all these sites? I clicked three links, once each and received three spam mails. He must receive HUNDREDS every day!

Well, only if you registered on a website with your email that is in some way associated with the website then they could have added you to their mailing list. It's either that or like Graham said, spyware, or some other program on your PC that collected your data and sent it back to malicious websites.

From clicking on a link ? No. From somewhere else ? Sure.

Spam is an industry. Mail lists from website databases are bought and traded, not to mention bots crawling the web to look for email addresses publicly accessible.
