That's a mistake many creationists make. They don't know much about the theory of evolution. Evolution does not teach that we come from monkeys ... but that we share a common ancestor with them.

It's a gradual process. Very gradual. In fact, so slow and gradual that there isn't a point where you can say "this is the first member of this species".
