Its just funny though. I mean the pre civil war people to me were basically the real Americans.
Some north western euros later assimilated or even have some colonial ancestry. But most people like today who comes here I dont consider real americans. but then again in modern america the colonila stock are not considered real americans but immigrants and illegals are considered 100% americans.
