To this day Egypt has a large populace of Caucasian/ semitic and light skinned people,

Angelina Jolie doesn't look "ancient classic", anyway. If they want something more "exotic" for Egyptian queen I think Aishwarya Rai is proper enough for the case.

Nice girl...but too much "swarthy" for a Helenic queen.

Taking into account that our high-classes (including of course a fair percentage of my ancestors) across the centuries were of Indoeuropean, Celtic, Gaulish, Germanic origin, you can easily figure out the reason for that.

And, as long as, high-classes and conquerors had in ancient times a great advantage over low-classes or conquered in terms of natality and life-expectance, you can figure too that your assertion of today Spaniars looking not much European is just a wishful thinking from yourself.

Why on earth would I wish Spaniards to not be European? Do you think it pleases me that vast areas of Europe are inhabited by mongrel races? One good thing though - they can serve as a warning to Northern Europeans as to what will happen to them, if the current trends continue.
