For some reason,oil is radioactive.If you put a meter on old production string
oil pipe it will show that it is radioactive.Folks who work in the "Oil Patch"
loose their teeth and generaly have all around bad health and I swear and
so do many other old oilfield hand,that it is due to the radioactivity of the
oil that comes out of the ground.

This makes sense considering the Radon rich strata that lies beneath the feet of many Americans. There is radioactive ground water in some areas.
These side affects could also be the side affects from exposure to Hydrogen Sulfide. This deadly toxin can kill you on the north slope oil wells of Alaska.
