Friulans/Furlans can have some recent genetic influence from Slovenes (and vice versa Slovenes from Friulians) but Venetians? I don't think that Venetians have recent genetic influence from Slavic people, except from the Dalmatians and the so called Schiavoni.

They do have a bit of a Slovenian or Croatian look; but it wouldnt blow me away if I saw them in Venice. However I think a lot of these guys aren't typically Venetian looking. More Dalmatian.

These guys are from Vicenza province, not from Venice. And some has even a southern Italian surname.

Venetians don't tend to look Balkans, I think, or at least I haven't noticed that they do. Maybe Slovenes. I don't really know many Slovenes though.
