Classify and Place Chris Cornell (R.I.P.)

For some strange reason I have always tought he looked Portuguese rather than North Euro/White American.

Same here but he's of mixed British Isles ancestry. RIP to a great musician.

Look Portuguese for some reason.

There's some overlap between Portugal and the British Isles. But I bet Cornell pass easier in Portugal or Brazil than in Scotland.

He looks somewhat exotic for a White American, I agree. But I would say he is more on Southern Euro or maybe slightly American Indian range than SSA. Where do you see the SSA in him?

Curious is that he have two children with a pure Greek Med woman and the kids look more Northern Euro/WASP (the brown haired one looks more Sicilian/Ashkenazi).



His parents also look more WASP than him.

Funny fact is that the first time I saw Cornell I thought he was some kind of whitish Latino or Italian. When standing beside Kim Thayil (Indian) he didn't looked particularly light pigmented.

I think the curly hair is passing you some fake SSA vibe. I don't think he really looked part SSA.



But I read Cornell had some Jewish ancestry, this can explain his somewhat unusual look.

The curious fact is that both kids look way more lighter than the parents.
