Do Anglo-Caribbean accents (Jamaican, Bajan, Trinidadian) have Irish influence?

I have heard that they do. If you hear a white person speaking in an Anglo-Caribbean accent, especially, it does sound somewhat Irish.

I've always wondered about this and I'm not quite sure, but I have a feeling there is a little.
