Here is the actual skull. To me it looks quite borreby-faelid. Whoever thought it was australoid was on some crack, but physical measurments can be deceiving just as looks can be - you can easily get pseudo[fill in the blank] results.
It's more flattened in the front that is probably where the australoid determination comes from.

Also, I have to say what incredible bullshit that statement is. The extreme NE of yamna was sampled, and corded covers the entirety of europe practically. There is no proof there anyone descended from anywhere. Of course there should be similarity. There is huge similarity in celts and germans and poles today as well....

What read some time ago, the first people in the Scandinavian peninsular were the Sami people. Then nordids came later, as they had their origins in the north German plain, between the Oder river to the Dutch border.

Kostenki:
Skhul V:
They look more or less the same, with the only difference being that Skhul has the Neanderthal jaw type (tapered) while Kostenki has the Cro-Magnon jaw type (square angles). Skhul V is from the Levant and is over 100k years old. I would imagine there is a connection between them, because I can see a lot of similarities.
Edit: Actually, Skhul has a more Neanderthal-shaped maxillary bone, while Kostenki has the modern maxillary bone curvature (which is actually an Erectus feature).
