What 3 Ideals guide your life?

What are the top three ideals that guide your life.

For me, I think if I had to choose three recurring ideals that have consistently guided my life decisions and my interaction with others, they would be the following.

1. Fairness - It is important to me that my decisions and my behavior towards others is fair.

2. Duty to others - I take my duties and responsibilities to others and the role I play seriously. I feel a great deal of guilt when I have failed in fulfilling a duty.

3. Self Improvement - I consistently seek to improve myself and to continue discovering things.

I don't identify as such in person and I've never lived around them. I'm ambiguous enough to pass as multiple ethnicities and I exercise that option when the situation presents itself. Aside from some Affirmative Action goodies, being "Hispanic" doesn't accrue many benefits in the U.S. and I personally dislike the culture.
