Greetings -- Korean-American
Hey there TA, I've been lurking this site for a few weeks and I thought it was interesting enough to sign up and register.
A little about me.
I was born in South Korea but my family moved to the States when I was 4. I consider myself fully and proudly American, but I'm also proudly Korean. I have a great interest in genetics, anthropology and Eastern Asian history/politics, and would be considered well informed on most of the key geopolitical issues. By the same token, I have a great interest in and respect for European civilization and culture, and all of the world's civilizations in general. I was lucky enough to backpack through parts of Europe three years ago - I went to France, Germany, England, Spain and Italy, and also saw parts of Russia, Serbia, and Poland. Very memorable experience.
I'm currently a college student.
My hobbies are centered around sports/martial arts. I've practiced Taekwondo for many years, as well as Kyokushin. Big NFL and NHL fan. Also enjoy playing volleyball.
Consider myself a pragmatist politically and am somewhat nationalistic.
I'm irreligious, but try and follow the value systems and ethics of Won Buddhism.
