Why do Jews tend to store fat on their faces and upper legs rather than their stomachs/arms?

Coming from a part Jewish family myself I've noticed this. But also on ones not related also. I'm fairly skinny myself but I have chubby cheeks and neck. Given that Jews came from a completely different environment to Europe I'm wondering if it's related. One of my close relatives is in his mid-30's, skinny guy but if you looked at just his face you'd think he'd be bigger. It's mostly in his cheeks, and he'd round-chinned. It gives a soft appearance.

I don't think that's generally true. People who store some fat on face seem to be irish and slavs. Middleeastoids usually have bony face and age horribly, so do many germanics. But lucky for you if you don't, maybe you have some unknown east euro ancestry.

I guess it is a natural tendency in jews to "store" goods and never get rid of them... A friend of mine used to say: Fucking jews I wonder what they do when they eat banana...would they throw away the peels????.

Well my family were originally from central Europe so it isn't too hard seeing some Eastern European admixture down the line. I had old relatives in Romania, Poland and elsewhere. Interesting though, I didn't know this about Eastern Europeans.
