Creatures that visit your garden?

Because i live in the countryside i guess i am lucky, many creature visit my garden during the changing seasons, today i took some photo's of a family of Frogs that have taken residence of a flower bed.

Here is the mother frog.

There are quite a lot of frogs and other small animals in my garden. I'll try to make some pictures soon.

Frogs are relatively rare. Aside from birds, the most common wild animal in my back garden is probably the fox, a creature which hasn't been unknown to sit atop the back fence while my dog jumps up to attack it. The bravery of urban foxes is becoming increasingly a cause for concern. As members in my country will know, there have been recent cases of them attacking infants.

I've got a very long garden, and living close to the hills I tend to see Hawks hovering and then diving down.



They usually go for Field Voles

In the past few months, a golden eagle (who flew away before I could grab a bird book and binoculars and confirm its identity with total certainty), a great horned owl, several plump wild turkeys, and an opossum. So far the groundhog has not dared show up. I left some low-hanging pea vines to test if it is around.

I regularly find North American Robins feasting on insects in my garden.
Shrews are another frequent visitor.
We do occasionally find frogs.
I did have a cow moose with 2 calves stomping through my garden during the twilight hours of late Spring.
I started tying the dogs out at night to scare these large herbivores off ,yet they seem to have moved on, or have been processed by poachers!
I do occasionally find fox tracks down my raised rows. I imagine that these rows provide the local silver fox with an autobahn style superhighway between my 2 neighbors chicken coups, but perhaps they are chasing hare.
