    Default Gedmatch results for an Italian from Campania, southern Italy.

    Definitely similar to Calabrese, Sicilians, Cretans etc. more than to Abruzzese or Romans. The strongly Neolithic genetic elements are just as strong in mainland southern Italy as in Sicily.

    I think that Neapolitans and Salerno/Amalfi coast should score similarly to this person. I'm not surprised by the result actually.
