Regarding if I belong in California or not, well, my MtDNA is B2 with a subgroup of B4'5, which is found exclusively in Native Americans of Northern Mexico and the Southwest USA. My maternal ancestors were the Anasazi (the precursors of the Hopi & Navajo people), so I kind of DO belong in California and all of the Southwest USA.

    Just sayin'!

I don't think someone is so incredibly stupid to say that, so it must be a troll, compadre don't feed the trolls.

The Battle of San Pasqual was a military encounter that occurred during the Mexican-American War in what is now the San Pasqual Valley community of the city of San Diego, California. On December 6 and December 7, 1846, the Californios, and their Presidial Lancers, led by General Don Andres Pico, (1810-1876), defeated Stephen W. Kearny´s US Army column of 150 men.

Anazasi are also related to aztecs.
