    Nonsense.

The state itself was dominated by Mexicans of European descent, sure, but the core population was always native Mexicans.

    Nonsense.
You need to educate yourself on the name Mexico. It's of Aztec origin through and through.

Mēxihco is the Nahuatl term for the heartland of the Aztec Empire

    Except you did.

That's hilarious. The hinterlands beyond Rio Grande were never Mexican, meaning Aztec, and sparsely populated in comparison to ... Mexico. It was populated by tribal Indians that had no cultural relation to the people in the core of Mexico. We took Mexico's colonial lands that were annexed to Mexico by Spain and made it ours. It's not more complicated than that.

There are dozens of other tribes besides the ''extinct'' Aztecs. Mexico is a quite diverse place mate, you will find places from the most native to the most european influenced.

Look how much Aztec influence these cities have...

Mexico City lays on top of what was the ancient capital of the Aztec empire...

My Y-DNA ends with an asterisk (*), but I forgot to add it and now I don't know how to edit my profile LOL. Does yours end with an asterisk, too?
