How Similar Are Italians To Iberians ?

How similar are Italians to the Portuguese and Spanish, genetically and culturally speaking ?

These three countries are the true Romance nations ( French being Romance speaking Gauls ) so i'm wondering how related are the Iberians with the Italians, culturally and genetically.

I have been both to Spain and Italy ( Spain many times, Italy once ), and the things i've noticed is that Italians tend to be taller and have a higher amount of light eyes on average compared to the Spanish ( I was in the north, Roma and Sicily ,for a very brief time ), higher tendency of bigger noses and the Italians seem to be more diverse between themselves, regarding phenotypes and pigmentation. Also I have noticed that Italian women on average have round heads while Spaniard women are mostly long headed.

However this is solely based on what I have observed, so I could be wrong.

Genetically: Haplogroups and autosomal are both different.

Culturally: Both speak a romance language.

So, basically no that similar genetically and culturally.

Genetically: Well they are closer to one another than they are to Northern Europeans or Near Easterners, but they are not the same. That's about as far as i can narrow it down.

Not so much that people think in culture. But in language and religion of course. Genetically we are quite close. But Iberian people have more SSA and less West Asian admixture.

Only Canary Islands has more SSA than whatver. Then Sicily, Campania, Calabria.

I said earlier this merely based on my observations from what I saw in Italy, also the Italians friends that I have are all between 178-180cm, yet I have argentinian friends of pure Italian heritage and they are 170-175cm.
