How do you distinguish Americans?

Sometimes those stereotypes are not without truth.

I was in a Wal-Mart the other day and there were two Europeans in line (probably from eastern Europe). They looked healthy and dressed decently. Everyone else in line appeared overweight and dressed sloppy.

The Americans, if they're in a group, tend to be visible. I mean, visible. You can see them, you can certainly hear them. If they're alone, they're probably awkward, waiting for somebody or trying to strike up a personal conversation with a complete stranger.

I can tell an American everyday out of a crowd in a subway in Europe.

The big thing is Americans love to vocalize (Heeeeey man/bro, liiiiikeeee yeah, OK man, that was AWESOME, etc etc). Europeans talk in completely different way, much more matter of fact.

Americans also tend to dress in more hip pop baggy way than Europeans who value more the thin non-bodybuilder physique with skin tight clothes.

Well America is quite the melting pot with different affinities and mentalities. So there is be alot of local/regional variability that will be very different overall.

Look at an international crowd. Who are the least attractive and most attractive people in that crowd? They're Americans, of course. We're a country of extremes.
