Yeah last names that end in -ovc is signifies being named after a toponym, in this case Gjinovc in today's Serbia. Typical for Muhaxhers as they are in vast majority known by their ex-village names, Cukovci, Davidovci, Statovci etc. have the common Slavic suffix -ovc or -ovac as we know.
