A Sicilian with the username "Angelo" on here who rarely posts, but when he does, only posts his blondest blue eyed countrymen and himself has blonde hair and blue eyes, added me on Facebook and asked me to classify him. I told him that his eye area looked Ashkenazi Jewish, but otherwise he could pass in France. After this, he proceeded to disagree and say how dark Calabrese and people in eastern Sicily and Greece are, but that western Sicilians are very light.

So I told him that no, that is not the case and there are marginal differences, and nearly all southern Italians are closer to people in Crete. So I showed him this photo from Crete as an example:




To which he said they were too exotic to pass as Sicilian.

So I told him, no, they're not, you're just self-hating, and it's time we stop lying about who we really are and be honest. I told him if he finds those people too dark to pass, then he must think I look over the top exotic since I fit perfectly in that photo and even he does, just depigmented.

And then he said I was an autistic loser and have always been, so I realized he was adding me to bait me into saying something that he could use against me elsewhere. What an imbecile. Then, he blocked me because he could not think of a rebuttal. This kind of self-hatred and volatility needs to be exposed.

It's summer time, people! There is a reason I have not been on as much. It's time to go outside in the sun, enjoy life, embrace ourselves and just let all of the nonsense and self-hate go!

He added me. I am nice and usually add everyone until they piss me off or vice versa. In this case he was just adding me to bait me into saying something so he could insult me.

He sounds ridiculous. Honestly, how can a person reach a false conclusion about themself, ask for opinions, then proceed to deny any merit to that which conflicts with their self assessment? The requisite mental gymnastics confounds me.
Why not simply ask for the sake of curiosity? It's not as if other people's opinions will eradicate and render his worthless.
If they do, then why not reconsider why that is? Maybe he'll achieve a sense of ease if he stops letting anything or anyone interfere with his internal dialogue.
