    Default Jewpsy Intro

Hey everyone! I'm Jewpsy and I am happy to be here. I have been lurking around TA for about a month or two, so I decided I would join. So far, I love it here! I'm really interested in genetics, anthropology, linguistics, and history, so this forum seems to be a great fit for me so far.

At a later date, you may see the favicon on this forum change, and that is because I bought one for the forum from a graphic designer and Loki has shown interest in adding it.

If you have anything that you want to ask me, feel free!

Welcome! Do you know much about your French Canadian ancestry?

Not really. I actually don't know how much is actually French, because my grandfather shows up with so much Iberian and Irish.

    What are your DNA results?

I have not taken a DNA test yet. If you are really interesting in getting in-depth with your French Canadian ancestry, you can look up genealogical websites. French Canadian ancestry is easy to track down, because the Church keeps track of all the birth/death and marriage. If you have name, you can find all of your Quebecois ancestors very easily

Unfortunately, I could find nothing on Ancestry.com

I showed up as a genealogical match with a French-Canadian, but he didn't ever respond to me.

Awesome! I apologize if the question was intrusive. I was raised as a progressive Baptist who's now a Lutheran, myself. The Karaites are an interesting group, by the way.
