Yes, I would continually enhance myself with nanotechnology etc... to have enhanced cognition, consciousness and perceptions and thanks to advancements in neurology and computing I would eventually upload my mind to a computer (for a backup copy) and then start uploading it to anthropomorphic robots and from there I would attempt to colonize the universe and perhaps also conquer the world and the entire universe, as well, with my minion robot henchmen muahahaha ! :

You have to consider all the possibilities before making a decision on immortality . If the bad guys die no one would know where you were. Perhaps at some point, thousands of years later you may be rescued, but it would be better to be dead than live trapped, unmoving, isolated for so long. You'd acquire no wisdom as you'd experience nothing, and on re-entering the world you'd know nothing, no one, and would be culturally isolated. Who knows, they might consider you potentially dangerous and chuck you down a hole again. Ok, so this would be a bad case scenario
I haven't seen it, perhaps I should

Of course! That would give me enough time to correct past mistakes. One's greatest adversary in life is exactly that: time. You can't escape it. You're gonna die.

If anything goes wrong, you only have to prove your immortality, that you have travelled through centuries. You would be a living proven god, some could certainly fancy the idea of removing you from the face of the Earth, but a lot more would worship you. Even living a hundred years trapped into hole, it's nothing compared to what's ahead of you. Im pretty sure no one would dare throwing a Catkin into a hole anyway...

If I never aged, was immune to disease and was basically indestructible when it came to injuries, sure. Mostly because I'm interested in seeing what the world will be like in the distant future.
