Dinosaurs

They are still like science fiction to me. To believe that these creatures once walked on Earth is a bit beyond reality but of course that all changes when you see archaeological evidence of their existence. They are a pretty fascinating creature largely because of their size, their domination of Earth for a period of 160 million years, and if dinosaurs hadn't went extinct, would have we went extinct instead?

They say the gravitation was different back then, so no surprise such large life forms were able to survive.

It was not a difference in gravity but in the oxygen content of the air.

I've read both theories, but I think the one about gravitation is not yet proved.

How can the gravity of the earth change so drastically? Gravity is an effect of mass and the accumulation of meteors on the earth has not been sufficient to change the mass of the whole planet.

The Troodon is believed to have been the most intelligent dinosaur. More intelligent than mammals at its time and maybe as intelligent as modern mammals such as dolphins. Some scientists believe that, given Troodon a chance to live more million years, it could evolve to a humanoid creature as intelligent as us!

I used to watch this program "Paleoworld" everyday when I was 11... it was just fantastic!
