Dogmatic? No, not really. I don't like dogma in general, especially not religious. But yes, Leninism is alright in my opinion. Of course my own views are rather a blend of different schools of thought, because we live in the modern world and many things have changed in society. We have to adapt. Nevertheless, some principles should be considered sacred and non-negotiable.

British patriot? I don't particularly feel it, no. I am South African by birth and upbringing. But I do appreciate the English people and their way of life. I've become used to much of it, having been here for 16 years. I disagree with a lot of British politics, though. I especially dislike the current Tory regime, and I also dislike the fact that Britain is deeply divided by class in society. This is in stark contrast to other European countries, especially northern ones like Scandinavia, Netherlands, also France and Germany, etc. Under the current Tory leadership, the divide between classes is widening, and social mobility becoming more difficult to obtain.

so you're mostly a dutch descendant I see. In the netherlands the left wing is more powerful I think. In small countries the left wing has normally more power. Although I don't think the term right or left is useful anymore.

I agree, but that's not my point. My point is that he's a hypocritical demagogue, who mentions events from circa 1200 after Christians are murdered and tortured by Islamist terrorists in 2015. He rightly considers the Charleston mass murder to be an act of terrorism. He refers to the Fort Hood mass murder as "workplace violence".
