In my "Non-Reciprocal Overlap" thread from last month, I used these two pairings as prime examples. In the former, I believe that the majority of Germans can pass in Italy, given that there are lots of Alpine/Dinarid/Norid types in both countries, but at the same time the majority of Italians (especially, but by no means uniquely in the South) look too Mediterranean-influenced to pass (easily) in Germany. In a similar manner, I believe that the majority of Iranians can pass in Pakistan, given that many Pakistanis (especially, but by no means uniquely Pashtuns and Balochis) can look Iranid/West Asian, but at the same time most Pakistanis wouldn't really pass in Iran as they look too Indian/Dravidian. So, who of the two pairings looks more alike?
