Docu - must see - Germans as minority in a german school
Even though the following documentary is in german and is about a german school, I thought it was too important to just post it in the german section.
Anyway there are surely non-germans who understand enough german to watch it, and besides, since I'm also giving links to a french subtitled version, that makes two reasons to post it in an "international" section.
I've learned its existence on the biggest french re-information blog (as they call themselves), fdesouche.com, where the guys found it so shocking and important that they called voluntary german-speaking readers to provide a translation and subtitles.
This german docu, "Kampf im Klassenzimmer - Deutsche Schüler in der Minderheit" (Struggle in the classroom - Students in minority) has just been broadcasted last wednesday (21.07.10) on german channel ARD and is since uploaded on internet.
It is about a school in Essen-Karnap where ethnic German youths have become a small minority among muslim allochtones, Turks, Kurds and Lebanese. Situations like these already exist in many european countries, I know there are schools in this situation in UK and even Sweden, etc...
Unlike what one could expect of a documentary produced by mainstream media, this is the first rather honest reportage I've seen on such a situation. (I know I would never see that on french TV, for instance)
The critics from the German youngsters against their 'colleagues' were not cut (or at least it seems so, don't know if there were harder words), young muslims are also interviewed -and the regisseur did not cut the moments when they tell their hate and their contempt towards the Germans.
It shows things as they are : life has become a hell for the young Germans surrounded by muslims allochtones that openly despise them and declare they are in Germany to profit all the way.
It also shows the explicit desire of the young muslims to make islam the law. At some point I think it's said in the film that some have even spat in the Germans' lunches on Ramadan because it wasn't hallal.
There is also the German girl who has "found her place" as the convert girlfriend of one of the Turkish boys... But the reportage does not deliver the usual pro-mixing propaganda about it, on the contrary since the docu lets the muslim boys speak their mind freely, the spectator can see how they perceive the german girls : as mere sexual tools easy to get laid with. They openly say so. I wish every European could see it so that many would open their eyes about the "multi-kulti utopia".
