The Red Pill - Curse or Blessing

Edgy time!
Essentially the age old question: is ignorance bliss?

There was a time when I could turn on the TV and not be disgusted by 95% of the content being shown, there was a time when I could go check my yahoo email and not feel bombarded by a dozen bait articles from fucking HuffPo and Vox, or notice all the parasite celebrities constantly in my face; there was a time when I could have a chat with friends on facebook without being disturbed by the herd mentality of all the rainbows; there was a time when I could look at a politician's face and maybe find hope and be enthusiastic about future prospects instead of seeing just another generic, spineless, incompetent, ass licker career whore; there was a time when I felt no burden on me and was free to entertain my own desires instead of worrying about the grander things. I miss those times.

There is a reason why certain autistic but enlightened circles from the dark corners of the internet constantly mock the average Joes of this world, and it has nothing to do with satisfying their inflated egos. That's just a pretext for their underlying envy of the normal life, of being able to stay completely oblivious to the subtle agendas, propaganda and shady developments going on all around you and enjoy your little bubble of denial. I myself am feeling the fatigue. Cypher from the Matrix was right after all and I sympathize with him, should have taken that Blue Pill.

But there is no going back...

Try to avoid the internet and spend quality time with family and friends.

Both. A thing I have noticed, though, is the extreme disbalance in numbers between these two types of people. I'd say about 95% of the world's population are bluepills.

Its a matter of perspective that justifies the means. Your consciously thinking for what is best for yourself; merely weighing the pros and cons of a better suited environment for oneself from which you would feel more comfortable in. As your mind stretches beyond socially acceptable notions of an "ideal" society which varies from individual to individual. What your experiencing right now is simply a symptom of seeing the reality of degeneracy that can become rampant in one's society where some areas around us exhibit a rampant decline that mutates into a low-down, chaotic setting which is a byproduct of time itself. I would say its a "blessing" in some respects because you readily see the reality of situations that you see degrading in your community so you choose not to be indoctrinated with a sugarcoated lie to what is institutionalized/popularized in the media and so forth. Regardless, its simply the ups and downs in one's life. So its better to do what is best for yourself as an individual; rather than being coerced into an ideology that you know deep down is not your forte. So again, do what is best for yourself, regardless of what others may think because its your life at the end of the day; why let a few bad apples spoil the rest? You know what is best for yourself; no one else has control over it besides you.
