Ireland - the land of 25% of my ancestry. And it looks beautiful. I wouldn't be interested in visiting Dublin though.
Italy - I'd like to visit some of the cities and ancient heritage sites, but also my ancestral villages in Abruzzo and Marche.
France - I've already been to Paris, but I'd like to visit the rest of France.
Quebec - Quebec City in particular. I want to learn French, I'm half French-Canadian, and I live a few hours away so it would make sense for me to visit.
Russia - I study Russian and I love this country.
Bosnia - I'd like to visit Mostar and Sarajevo.
The Alpine Region in General - I visited once when i was 11, but I'd like to go back now that I'm older.
China + Myanmar - I went to both these countries last month, but I was with a group following a tight schedule and as a result I didn't get to do everything I wanted for as long as I wanted, I plan on returning to Yangon, Mandalay, and Shanghai, but not Chongqing.
Nepal/Tibet - The Himalayas look amazing.
The Congo - I'll wait until there aren't about 100000 civil wars (might never happen), but the landscape looks beautiful.
South Africa - Cape Town's table mountains.
    Vietnam - Gorgeous landscapes.
Japan - for the same reason as above. I'm not as interested in the cities apart from Kyoto.
Also: The Andes, India, The Maldives, Greece, Cuba, Israel, Iran, and Afghanistan etc.
Next time you go to China, make sure to go to Beijing and Xi'an as well. You will get a good dose of history. Chongqing is a huge city but it is more a gritty, industrial metropolis. In the same province, Sichuan, it's rival Chengdu is the one that boasts more culture, history and refinement. You should check it out next time too.

Ankara might be the capital but it's not all that of an interesting place. It's quite boring and largely bureacratic due to having most of the state instutitons. It draws less tourists than 10 or 15 other places in Turkey. Anyway; if you still want to go there, there's Anitkabir the mausoleum of Ataturk, which is pretty much the only sight that stands out and shines upon the city at night

I want to visit a lot. It would be an incomplete long list, to be honest. However, big influential countries rank high on my list. Countries like the USA, PRC, Russia, Brazil, etc... But I'd go over there well-informed, yet try not to plan it out too strictly. Plan it out with room for things not going my way. That's a healthy travelling attitude, I think.

I would like to visit Istanbul and Izmir too, after 15 years. Last time I visited Turkey it was quite poor and in full development. I've heard it modernised a lot by now. I would like to witness that change.

Yea there are also museums especially that of anatolian civilizations. I just wanted to make sure that Ankara wouldn't feel like most capital cities, it's dull, time passes slowly. The atmosphere is different, even nightclubs fail to change that lol.
