You can go if you do have a american passport, You just have to contact them and tell them EVERYTHING and then they come and get you at like 5 AM or something.

But I just want to go to North Korea,

It is very amazing there from the architecture, and amazing site seeing.
Yeah, It must be amazing sightseeing hospitals, orphanages... Guess what, surgery without anesthetic, hungry and battered children...

I would rather die in north korea then travel to any country in the west.

Hey man, Insult North Korea for there ways of trying to sustain themselves, They have amazing AWESOME buildings, and shows there.

You get escorted around the country.

In any western country like, UK, France, Spain, Germany, etc.

You just see dumb bullshit I could give two fucks about.

I do not need to go to a country that is made up off using and abusing the poor.

I would like to visit Istanbul and Izmir too, after 15 years. Last time I visited Turkey it was quite poor and in full development. I've heard it modernised a lot by now. I would like to witness that change.
There are only historical things in Istanbul and maybe some fun for like making friends, bars. Not many historical things in İzmir. If you are coming to Turkey for holiday reason you just need to go to some med place or aegan like Bodrum. For historica things you just need to travel all Turkey. For swimming etc, definetly not Istanbul or Izmır.

Sure, but Istanbul is interesting to visit on account of it being a megapolis (it seems like the most interesting place to visit in Turkey quite frankly). I realise you need to travel the entire country to get a feel. Izmir is listed because I wanted a base of comparison of what's in my memory (not that I'm expecting it to be interesting, but that doesn't have to be like that to me).

Of course, visiting others regions interest me too. Touristy places too even like Bodrum, Side or Antalya.

Its just to many people in Istanbul man. If you already saw historical things like churches, mosques etc, no need to see Istanbul again really. You won't see any real better fun than european cities. You need to see other places

    There are good other places

These are just 12 of them, there are many other good historical and natural things... So many of them that there is place called Minyatürk in Istanbul, miniatures of everything

The majority I would say, every place has something special to do/see. But for 2017 I'm going only to Portugal, Spain and maybe see a friend living in London.
