Will western civilization/culture be destroyed because of Muslim/african immigrants?

The norms change, children go to the school 8 hours per day and they will be fed with ideas that were stange to us. With books like this I wonder what comes next.

Taking it that far might have opposite effects and make future generations more conservative. They have to watch out. Anyway, I doubt those books are used in most schools.

Stop letting them come to your countries and rule, ban the burqua/hijab, ban praying on the streets, ban halal taxes and slaughter ect. If they dont have the fundamentals of their culture how could they be in any place to destroy ours? From a racial preservation point of view it is better if they are not assimilated and stay grouped together because then they are less likely to mix with natives.

Jesus christ guys.. the world must be a terrifying place for many of you. We may absorb some tangential things from immigrants, but by in large it is the immigrant groups that will absorb much much much more of western civilization. I am of the opinion that muslims aren't inherently bad, but are just a product of the fact that there was no large scale renaissance, enlightenment, reformation etc. in the muslim heartland; its like if Inquisition era catholic priests suddenly appeared now. As such, perhaps if Muslims in Europe are exposed to western civilization they can help create a more secular version of Islam and spread those ideas to their middle eastern brethren.

You're wrong, btw. We cannot change/assimilate them if: 1. our genetics are recessive, 2. immigration keeps bringing more and more in, 3. if they outbreed us and have higher population growth. It doesn't make sense mathematically, if their population is the one that's growing, we're the only ones who are gunna be reformed/assimilated to their culture.

I absolutely think we can change then. Look at post Ottoman Turkey; Ataturk's Reforms were aimed at becoming more Westernized... Ataturk banned many traditional head coverings (turbans, fez's, bonnets), abolished the caliphates ability to mediate in the public sphere, abolished the millet system, introduction of womens public rights and womens marriage rights, introduction of popular sovereignty, abolishment of sharia courts, introduction of the Swiss Civil Code, as well as massive changes to education. There are many within the muslim community who wish to modernize, it serves noone just to be afraid of them.

Your problem seems more to be with the genetic implications of muslim immigration, however I don't really think we are in any danger of becoming the minority. Look at Greece, it was a physically part of the Ottoman Empire for 500 years, with countless Turks moved to and stationed in Greece; but today genetic divisions between the two groups are still quite evident (beyond what many on this site say); and culturally they certainly are VERY distinct. Most of the hated immigrants are just hard working people looking for a better life for them and their family; not to subvert the great satan. I can put up with the occasional mosque here and there as long as they are law abiding people. Also, I dont think race mixing is as common as you think; cases are evident, but they certainly aren't the norm.

Being tolerant doesn't make me a marxist.. despite your attempt to place me into a box which would aid dismissing my arguments. I just think that we as a culture have been primed to be afraid of muslims. Personally I think that the terrorism and conflicts of the last 20 years are more geopolitical in origin than religious. Religion just serves as a conduit for it.

Western culture and civilization has been evolving quite rapidly the past few decades (imo in a quite degenerate way). However if it continues to die in such a way it won't be because of immigrants. Look at white westerners. They have very few connections with their heritage and old cultures regardless of outsider influence. The Muslims might bring many cultural values etc. that are foreign to western culture, but they are also strengthening parts of it too, since after all Christianity its self is practically dead in Europe and Islam is after all an Abrahamic religion.

Foreigners are not destroying western culture. Westerners are destroying it. But it really is only evolving. We only look at it as dying because we see it negatively. We don't like the changes that are taking place.
