Greetings from The South

Hey all y'all!

I'm from The South,from good aulde Virginia.I came here from Stormfront,and I've made an account to get classified,and figured that I'll stay a bit more.
I luv to hunt,to ride a horse and powerlifting.
My ancestry is composed of Colonial Brits mostly,from all over the world,but especially from The South:Kentucky,Texas,Louisiana,Alabama.I have ancestors who fought the yankees at First and Second Bull Run and Gettysburg,and I also have some aussie ancestors who were at Gallipoli.
On the other side,I have normandian,flemish,austro-hungarian and finnish ancestors,too.They came later to America.

About politics and religion:being from The South,you might have guessed that I am a conservative,I've been one all my life and I will be as long as I live,by God's Grace.I am a reformed protestant.

I googled 23andme and it sounds interesting.One day maybe I'll give it a go.But you know how it is,one might find out things about themselves that they didn't even wanted to know in the first place haha.

About the classification:cool thing.I'd be really interested to see how you see me,since we both share hungarian(and to some point germanic) genes.

Weeeeeeeeeeellllll(that's a really Southern well),I'm grinnin' like a possum eatin' a sweet tater seein' a good ol boy from The Old Dominion.I was actually born in Alabama,but spent many time in The Blue Ridge Mountains and now I live in Richmond.

Yes. I agree. The term "The South" is really only meaningful to Americans.

Welcome abcd123. I have Southern heritage,as well. (Arkansas and Tennessee, via the Kentucky Wilds, via Massachusetts, via Killaloe, Ireland, via one grandfather's maternal line.)

My dad's old man's family has been in Fairfax and Loudoun Counties since the early days, while his mother had old roots in Prince George's County, Maryland. The Thorne/ Gooding family has Old English and some German roots. My Mom's family ( Cornett/ McDonald) has roots in Tennessee, Kentucky and Louisiana. English and Scotch- Irish in Tennessee and Kentucky and Cajun French in southern Louisiana. I was born in Fairfax County in 1973 and my own family, my parents, my older sister and myself have lived in Manassas since 1977.
There are a couple of other Virginians on this site, but not many. It sure is great to see another one here!
