Well, not always, sometimes he has other "attractive traits" or a higher status as well. Higher status doesn't have to mean "more money" all the time, it can mean that he is simply "wanted" or "popular", "interesting and special" or something like that as well.

Women might go for traits which don't pay of immediately, but might promise a future advantage or quality, for the partner or her future children.

It is just females look for more qualities in a male than sexual attractiveness, males too, but their concentration on sexual-optical attraction is significantly stronger.



Rather not. They are significantly above average usually and for sure not "ugly", not even below average...some are, most not.

I know the attractiveness is very subjective and flexible thing but I can more generally attractive female individual in the street every day than high-fashion models. My personal taste is an other thing of course. IMO the high-fashion models rather have perfect bodies to promote those rags than beautiful faces.
