I like Icelandic names and the fact their language resembles Old Norse, at least that's the impression I got. It might not necessirily be correct.

Iceland is one of the most unknown and exotic countries in Europe for most Europeans, a reason to like them. Most people think of Icelanders as long lost Vikings stranded on a island.

Iceland also heroically said NO to the bankers blackmail and decided to let its banks default, that was a pretty admirable thing to do. It shows that democracy still works in Iceland. They are what Asterix was to Romans.

I actually dislike no country (at least not from Europe) but it would be a shame if i didnt use red.

But let's give it a try and i'm using my imagination...
Portuguese is an extreme ugly language. Spain should ban bullfighting. Some people in switzerland eat dogs. Danmark is so unnecessary. It should join sweden or norway.

About that red dot in ukraine.. it symbolizes the russian soldiers.
